Brampton Golf Club offers a wide variety of golf events throughout the season, including Club championship competitions, member-guest tournaments, mixed and couples events, regular junior events and inter-clubs, and all with formats tailored to attract social, casual and competitive golfers, alike. All events are created in close communication with golf committees, volunteer conveners, and the golf professional staff. The result is many enjoyable formats operated in a highly professional manner.

Golfing Guests

 

Once you enter the main gates, follow the drive past the Clubhouse to the Pro Shop. Our Golf Services Attendants will welcome you, receive your golf clubs, and direct you to our various facilities. If you require the use of a locker please provide the locker room attendant with the name of your host member so that you can be assigned a guest locker near him/her.

Please also feel free to use our superb practice facilities before your round.We maintain an active pace of play program at Brampton and our goal is to have each group complete their round in better than 4 hours and 12 minutes. Adherence to this pace of play will ensure the best golf experience for our members and guests.

 

On the Golf Course – General Regulations

  • Golf attire must be tailored and in good taste.

  • Golf related or designer logos are permitted on golf attire.

  • Clothing with promotional or commercial advertising is discouraged but will be permitted if the business name or logo is tastefully done and no larger than the size of a breast pocket or sleeve edge.

  • Regulation golf sandals with or without sockettes or anklettes will be permitted. Sockettes or anklettes must be worn in regular golf shoes.

  • Caps and visors are to be worn in their natural position (forward) at all times.

  • Jeans and denim items of any colour, jogging or rugger pants, cargo shorts or pants, t-shirts, and tank tops are not permitted on the course.

  • Cargo pants and shorts are defined as shorts or pants with expandable attached exterior pockets. Shorts or pants with interior pockets or flat pockets are acceptable.

     Male Participants

  • Must have golf shirts that have a collar or mock neck, and must be tucked in at all times.

  • Shorts must reach at least mid-thigh in length.

     Female Participants

  • May wear golf blouses and/or shirts; sleeveless shirts must have a collar, collarless shirts must have sleeves. If a shirt is intended to be tucked in, it should be tucked in.

  • Shorts must reach mid-thigh in length.

  • Golf dresses, skirts, tailored slacks, golf pants and Capri pants are also acceptable.

 

Clubhouse Guests

 

Our main foyer, just inside the front clubhouse entrance, is an excellent place to connect with your member host. Our washroom and coatroom facilities are also conveniently located in this area. All guests attending a clubhouse event can check the notification board in the foyer to locate their meeting room.Clubhouse – General Regulations

  • Smart business denim is permitted in the clubhouse and must not contain any holes, tears, rips or be faded to the point of being tattered.

  • Hats of all types are to be removed on the main floor of the clubhouse.

  • Golf attire is permitted in the Sunset Room at any time.

  • The wearing of jackets by gentlemen is encouraged for social and special occasion functions.

 

Cell Phone Policy

 

Cell Phones may only be used in the following areas: Outside of the clubhouse around the front entrance or within your conference room.

**A courtesy phone is located in the front lobby.
